SDS Coordinator Update
It is with sadness that we share with our Community that Lloyd Helmn, our SDS Coordinator, has informed us that he will be leaving us in September due to family reasons in the UK. We are very grateful for the energy and professionalism that Lloyd has brought to our community during his short time with us and he has certainly had a very positive impact on both students and staff members alike. Please be assured that we are already undertaking a comprehensive recruitment process to identify a suitable replacement while also ensuring continuity and ongoing support for each of our students.
Early Years and Primary
Year 4 Service Learning
Year 4 welcomed Sylvia Brenes, one of the volunteer teachers from La Escuela de Arte (part of Chepe Se Baña) which provides a range of services for those people who find themselves in a situation living on the streets of San José. Sylvia spoke proudly of the work being done by her organization whilst explaining to the students what type of support they will be providing as part of their current project. We are delighted to invite all parents from Year 4 and Year 5 to the workshop “Puberty: Changes and Challenges”, which will be delivered by our Psychologists Andreína Azofeifa and María José González from the school’s Student Development Services (SDS). The workshop will be on campus, in Spanish, on Wednesday 21st May from 8:30 to 10:00 am.
