UPDATES AND NOTIFICATIONS:

WEEK IN REVIEW: As Week 17 comes to an end, we would once again like to thank all students, staff members and parents for their continued support and flexibility as we continue with our virtual learning programme.  While we recognise that virtual learning presents a range of challenges we have been delighted by the levels of student engagement as they continue to adapt to the realities of distance learning.

62nd INTERNATIONAL MATHS OLYMPICS, RUSSIA 2021:Congratulations to Carlos Shum and Nicole Lipschitz on being selected to represent Costa Rica in the 62nd International Maths Olympics, Russia 2021! Although the event will be virtual this year, they will be competing with some of the best young mathematicians in the world. We are immensely proud of Carlos and Nicole for such a great achievement.

COVID-19 VACCINE: On Monday the 31st of May, all British School of Costa Rica staff, both academic and non-academic, had the opportunity to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. We would like to thank the Ministry of Public Education (MEP), the Pavas Public Clinic (COOPESALUD RL) and the British School of Costa Rica’s Administration for making this possible.

EARTH DAY: On Friday the 4th of June, all Primary and Early Years students were invited to dress in green in recognition of Earth Day.  A number of activities were undertaken throughout the day focused on promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.
