WEEK IN REVIEW: On Friday the 23rd of July, students from all levels in the School celebrated Monday’s national holiday, which recognises the ‘Annexation of the Partido of Nicoya’.  Students were invited to wear national dress on this day and undertook a number of different activities including learning about the history behind this event, performing typical dances and creating artwork/avatars to highlight both the annexation and the consequences that it subsequently had on Costa Rican society.

This week, despite some minor disruptions to learning, we were delighted to welcome back Years 2, 4, 7, 8 and 10 to in-person classes for the first time this semester.

THE NUTCRACKER: We would like to congratulate Sara Molina (Year 3A) on being selected to dance in ‘The Nutcracker’ at the Melico Salazar Theatre this December.  Sara is a part of the ‘Les Petits Pas’ School of Dance.

JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP – GOLF: Congratulations to Allan Fan and Felipe Montero for their participation in the prestigious IMG Academy Junior World Championship for golf held in San Diego, USA between the 12th and 16th of July. Paula Montero also qualified to participate in this tournament by virtue of finishing top of the national rankings for 2020-2021 in the 15 to 18 year-old – female category.  Congratulations to each of our talented golfers.
