WEEK IN REVIEW: We would like to thank our Community for their collaboration and understanding with virtual learning on Monday, as all members of our staff received their second vaccine.  The full vaccination of our teaching staff is an important factor in us being able to increase the amount of in-person learning that we are able to provide in the coming weeks.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS FORTNIGHT: The BSCR Health and Wellness Fortnight begins on Monday of next week (30th of August) and ends on the 10th of September.  During these two weeks, students in all year levels will have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities aimed at promoting health and wellness in our School Community.  As was detailed in last week’s bulletin, students and staff members are permitted to come to School for these two weeks in appropriate sports/athletics clothes.

UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS:We are delighted to share that our 2020 graduating class has received offers from over 60 universities around the world including prestigious universities located in: USA, UK, Spain, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Israel, France, China and Costa Rica.  Congratulations to each of our graduates – we are extremely proud of their achievements!

GOLF CHAMPION: Congratulations to Tomás Gutiérrez on being named the national golf champion in the Category A – Stroke Play 2021 section.

PAGMO – 2021: We would like to congratulate Camila Gutiérrez Solano on being selected to represent Costa Rica for the first time at the Pan American Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad.

HEALTH AND SAFETY: For the protection of our School Community, we respectfully ask that students do not attend in-person learning on campus if they are presenting symptoms that are consistent with Covid-19.  In addition, we ask you to please inform our School Nurse (infirmary@bscr.ed.cr) about confirmed or suspected Covid-19 cases within your social bubble.

We would like to ask all car driving members of our community to please be aware of, and show courtesy to, pedestrians while entering/exiting campus and while waiting in line to pick up students.
