Fees and Quotas 2021

SCHOOL FEES and other QUOTAS 2021 – PROVISIONAL

Whilst the official “selling” exchange rate is below or equal to ¢610 per U.S. Dollar, then the school shall require payments to be made in COLONES in the amounts shown on this page; payments to be made in U.S. Dollars, will be calculated by applying the official “buying” exchange rate to the amounts detailed below.

 

1. ADMISSION QUOTA

¢600,000 (plus 13% VAT) – paid one time by the family.

 

2.  ANNUAL PAYMENTS:

I) MATRICULA 2021

YEARS 6 – 8 ¢576,600

II) TEXT BOOKS, per student, per year, the cost to the parents of renting the required course textbooks (and some accompanying workbooks) is INCLUDED in the Tuition Fees. Nevertheless, the family is required to pay and then maintain a Textbooks Deposit on their account with the School.

EY3 & Primary ¢95,000 Deposit
Secondary ¢110,000 Deposit

III) I.N.S. Student Medical Insurance (against accidents) approx. ¢18,000 per year.

 

3. MONTHLY PAYMENTS

The calculation of the monthly fees (below) is based on an amount corresponding to the annual Tuition Fees that can be paid annually, by semester (with a surcharge of 2%) or by month (with a surcharge of 5%).  Payment of these fees also covers official trips and excursions, most external exams, school photos, a Yearbook, textbooks and most workbooks and materials supplied by the School.  These fees do not cover school bus transport.

I.a) TUITION FEES 2021, paid each month over 12 months. For 2021 there is NO increase over the prices of tuition fees for 2020. **The cost of renting course textbooks (and the provision of accompanying workbooks) is INCLUDED in the Tuition Fees for Early Years 3 and higher levels.

I.b) Late fee: ¢10,000 in respect of every 15 days overdue.

 

4.  OTHER CHARGES and QUOTAS

The school bus service and the corresponding prices are the responsibility of a separate company Tranosys – info@tranosys.com.

The school may charge for other services such as special classes and After School Care.(¢2,000 per hour).

* for students commencing at mid-year, items marked (*) can be paid pro rata at 50% for the second semester of the year.
