Final Date for Clubs
Due to the Year 6 to Year 9 Exam Week, all extra-curricular clubs that are held in the afternoon for Secondary students only will end on Friday the 15th of November. All other clubs (EY clubs, Primary clubs, clubs that involve both Primary and Secondary students and Secondary clubs held in the morning) will end on Friday the 22nd of November.
Due to the Year 6 to Year 9 Exam Week, all extra-curricular clubs that are held in the afternoon for Secondary students only will end on Friday the 15th of November. Early Years 3 Transition to Year 1
With great excitement, Early Years 3 children have been participating in a number of transition activities to prepare them for their crossing over to Year 1. They have visited the Year 1 classrooms and engaged in different activities with the teachers. They also had their lunch in the cafeteria area experiencing some new routines. This week, the Year 1 teachers and assistants visited the Early Years 3 children in their classrooms to share some stories. We will continue organising other activities for Early Years 3 to ensure they have a smooth transition to Primary next year. Photo / Photo
Year 5B Service Learning
This week Year 5B students participated in their Service Learning experience at CIDAI in Pavas. The students had an unforgettable day connecting with the 3-year-olds, engaging in various activities designed to bring joy, learning, and fun to both age groups. The following pictures capture the special bonds that were formed and the smiles shared during our visit. Year 5 Passion Projects
This week, Year 5 Students had the opportunity to present their Passion Projects. This Quarter we are focusing on Forces and Gravity so their challenge was to create an amusement park attraction where forces and gravity were involved. National Motocross Champion
Congratulations to Mariano Rodriguez (Year 2) on being crowned the 2024 National Motocross Champion in the 50cc category. Through 8 different rounds throughout the year Mariano demonstrated his effort, passion and dedication, resulting in this well-deserved accolade. Photo / Photo / Photo

Swimming Success
Congratulations to Luciana and Matias Castro on their performance in the Open Water races at The Open Sea Events 2024, held in Punta Leona. Luciana finished first in the 1,500 metre race (12 to 14 year old category) despite being one of the youngest participants having recently turned 12. Matias finished 9th out of 75 participants in the 1,500 metre male (all ages) race and 8th out of 77 participants in the 2,200 metre male (all ages) race. Photo / Photo
Year 8C Service Learning Project at Casa Luz Shelter
Last Tuesday, November 5th, Year 8C students visited the Casa Luz Shelter to carry out their Service Learning project. This space offers lodging to a group of teenage mothers and their children, who come from situations of abuse, extreme poverty and exploitation. Therefore, the main objective of the visit was to share a recreational space where the young women could participate in different creative workshops led by the 8C students while also offering a play and storytelling environment for the boys and girls. Thanks to the organization of the students and their families, not only were donations of materials and basic necessities collected for the shelter, but they were also able to share a delicious snack. We thank all the 8C students and their families for their invaluable support and commitment in providing a morning of entertainment and fun for this group of teenage mothers and their children.
