Friendship Day
On Wednesday the 14th of February, students and staff members celebrated Friendship Day. In addition to coming to School dressed in red, white or pink a number of activities took place throughout the day including picnics, games and even the serenading of individuals. Please see our social media pages for pictures.
Friday 23rd of February
We would like to remind all parents that there will be no classes on Friday the 23rd of February due to it being a day that is dedicated to staff training.

Primary
Year 5 Camp
On Friday of last week, all of Year 5 returned from their three-day camp experience at La Montaña Camp. While they were there, they participated in a range of activities focused on team-building, leadership, responsibility and independence. Throughout the camp, the students were excellent role models for the BSCR as they took part in the many challenging activities including hiking, high rope courses, mud runs, archery and keeping their shared bedrooms tidy! We would like to thank both staff members and the Secondary students that joined us on the trip as camp counsellors: Leonardo Jiménez, Ariella Chaves, Andrea Soley, Ankit Patel, Gabriel Jiménez. All five students were exemplary as counsellors for the Year 5s and we greatly appreciate their willingness to volunteer for this challenging role.
Race Walking Championship
Congratulations to Tiago Núñez on finishing second in the Central American Race Walking Championship which took place in Guatemala between the 9th and 12th of February.

Congratulations to Paula Villalobos (Year 6) on being selected for Fifa-Fedefutbol’s Talent Development Programme – Photo
International Show Jumping Competition
Congratulations to Mia Pinchanski (Year 6), Emma Pinchanski (Year 9) and Marcella Patel (Year 10) on their participation in the 2024 Guatemala International Showjumping Competition which took place last week. The riders participated in a three-day event against competitors from a range of different countries. All three riders performed superbly well with Marcella finishing in third place overall. House Tournaments
This week saw the start of our Secondary House Competition with the beginning of our House Football Tournament and the House Boards Art Competition. Good luck to all participants as they represent their Houses in the various activities.
