As part of their IEYC theme of “Animal Rescuers”, Early Years 2 students went to an animal rescue centre on Thursday to learn more about the important work that takes place in these centres. The students all came back to school very excited about what they saw and learned.

As we work towards the end of this School Year, our teachers are now starting to prepare end of year reports for all of the students. However, some students will still have the opportunity for a final field trip before the School year ends. In the coming weeks Year 4, students will be visiting the Children’s Museum, while Year 1 students will be visiting the Butterfly Kingdom.

Year 8 Visual Art Under the Sea Tea Party ceramic exhibition
Congratulations to the Year 8 Visual Arts students for their wonderful ceramic exhibition, which is currently in the stairwell in Administration and in the Art room. We invite parents, students and staff to view the displays whenever they have the opportunity. The display showcases their excellent 3D ceramic Artwork on the theme ‘ Under the Sea Tea Party’. In this unit, students explored 3D ceramic techniques and skills of hand building, molding, bas relief and glazing. Students made personalized decisions on their designs, artist inspirations, tools and techniques leading to a very diverse exhibition. Congratulations to all the Year 8 artists for their amazing ceramic achievements and for their inspiring 3D surreal teacup and saucer designs.
