WEEK IN REVIEW: This week has seen us implement our phased return to in-person learning by welcoming students from Early Years, Year 1, Year 11 NB and Year 12 back on to campus.  We are delighted to report that it was a very successful week with all students and staff members strictly adhering to the various protocols and procedures that we have to manage risk in the most effective way possible.  As a result, and assuming that there are no changes in conditions in the coming days, we will be increasing the number of year groups receiving in-person learning next week (see above) as we move forward with our plans to resume our full dual-learning model in what we hope will be the near future.

PRIMARY BOOK WEEK CELEBRATIONS:Thank you to all students, staff and parents that helped to make our virtual book week in Primary a success. Please do look over the “Padlets” that the Primary classes have made to see some of the many different activities that took place last week (your children already have access to these).

FRIDAY 14TH OF MAY:We would like to remind all members of our community that the School will be closed on Friday the 14th of May (with no virtual or in-person classes) for staff training reasons. On this day, staff members will be participating in a range of learning activities to help support their ongoing professional development.

PRIMARY CULTURE CLUB:Thank you to all the Primary students that have signed up for our online “Culture Club”. The club is now full and its first session was on Thursday of this week. Due to the current situation, all other school based extra-curricular activities in the Primary School have been temporarily suspended and we will keep you updated regarding a possible start date.

HEALTH AND SAFETY UPDATE: We would like to remind all members of our community to ensure that they notify our Infirmary staff immediately (at infirmary@bscr.ed.cr ) about any situations related to Covid-19 within your social bubble.
