Year 6 Artwork
Congratulations to the Year 6 Art students on designing and constructing their Pre Columbian ceramic Ocarinas that are on display on the Secondary school bridge exhibition space and in the Art Department.   The Year 6 Art students were encouraged to work independently from direct observation and imagination on the theme of indigenous artefacts.  They investigated the use of different processes and techniques and learned how to manipulate and control specific tools and materials. Students refined and modified their work and evaluated and expressed opinions on their own and the artwork of others. They developed innovative ideas and resilience in their decision-making in the exploration of clay. Congratulations on all the excellent ceramic work achieved by Year 6.
